Product Review - Boots No. 7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum

Boots No 7
This is the product that took Boots by storm. The shelves were emptied and eager customers had to wait for new supplies to come in. I felt I had to try some as soon as it hit the shops again. Protect and Perfect is reasonably priced for this sort of specialist product at £16.75 for a 30ml tube.

The product in question is a silky serum which is designed to be smoothed into the face and neck after cleansing and toning. It is not marketed as a moisturiser but as a product that contains protecting and renewing ingredients. It is applied to the skin before moisturiser.

The serum comes in a very neat, slim plastic tube with a thin nozzle. This makes it very economical as only a small blob is dispensed when pressure is applied to the tube. The serum does not ooze out on its own as is often the case.

I have been using the serum since October 2007 and am very pleased with the results. My skin colour has improved and I feel that the texture is firmer and smoother. The serum is not at all sticky and sinks into the skin rapidly. Believe it or not I am still on my first tube!
