Mountain
Rose Herbs offers a wide range of dried herbs and spices.
The reality of the attack of moth is far from funny. You first notice little cuts in your t-shirts and in your nice cotton bedding. You open a seldom-used drawer and a couple of little brown things fly out. Most unpleasant of all is when you find holes in the carpet and crops of moth crysalis hanging like stalagtites from the underneath of your chest of drawers. Left unchecked moth can wreak serious damage on clothes and furniture.
Insurance policies don't cover for moth damage and the most effective chemical solutions (old fashioned moth balls) are no longer allowed. As is so often the case we find ourselves looking to the past for help. Here are a few old fashioned herbal moth remedies:
3 cups dried tansy
3 cups dried santolina
- Mix together.
- Sew into muslin bags.
1/4 cup dried mint
1/4 cup dried wormwood
1/4 cup dried thyme
1 crushed cinnamon stick
