4 medium sized cold boiled potatoes
1 cup grated suet
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon candied peel
pinch salt
4 tablespoons currants
milk or buttermilk
(see measure conversions for more information)
- Roll into an oblong and place on a greased baking tray.
- Mark lightly into squares and bake in a hot oven until golden brown.

A really good way of using up potatoes.
Ingredients

As a true Cornish Lass sadly living away from Cornwall I am so pleased to find this recipe. My mother used to make this when I was a child and I have been searching for a copy.....Can't wait to try it.
