How to make Cornish potato cake:
A traditional Cornish recipe where potatoes are combined with flour to make individual cakes which can be eaten with savory food such as bacon.


1 cup boiled potatoes
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons flour
pinch of salt
(see measure conversions for more information)


- Mash the potatoes with the butter while they are still hot.
- Sprinkle in the salt and the flour.
- Mix until smooth.
- Roll out on a floured board until very thin.
- Cut into rounds using a saucer as a guide.
- Cook on a hot griddle or in a frying pan for 3 minutes on each side.
- Serve hot.
