Cream Pastry Recipe
A cream pastry is ideal as a sweet filling case for desserts and sweet pies.
- 1/4 cup (2oz) butter
- 3 cups (3/4 lb) plain/all purpose flour
- 3 cups (1 1/2 lbs) caster/superfine sugar
- 1/4 pint cream
- pinch of salt
- Rub the butter into the flour and salt.
- Mix in the sugar and add the cream to make a dough.
