How to make cream pastry:
This is a pastry that is ideal for as sweet filling case.





Ingredients

1/4 cup (2oz) butter
3 cups (3/4 lb) plain/all purpose flour
3 cups (1 1/2 lbs) caster/superfine sugar
1/4 pint cream
pinch of salt

Method

- Rub the butter into the flour and salt.
- Mix in the sugar and add the cream to make a dough.
